The 90's

In 1992, the Guarulhos plant is inaugurated, and there the second horizontal furnace for tempered in Brazil starts its operation.

The second building is built in the Guarulhos site in 1995.

At that time, Fanavid supplied safety glass to Autolatina (Ford/VW) vehicles, such as Del Rey, Santana, VW Gol, Kombi, and also GM vehicles such as Monza, Opala and Corsa, In addition glass was supplied to bus assemblers including, Marcopolo, Busscar, Scania and Comil.

In 1996, the production of the Vila Guilherme plant in São Paulo is transferred to Guarulhos

Also that year, Fanavid was awarded ISO 9000 certification (1994 version).

The company supplies safety glass for the 2nd and 3rd Generation of VW Gol.
