Fanavid was established in 1963 by my father, Mansur José Farhat, who, with his entrepreneurial spirit and broad business vision, saw the opportunity of developing safety glass products for the automotive industry.

From then on, Fanavid has followed the evolution of this industry, standing out today mainly due to its ability to rapidly develop new products and its production flexibility, which allow it to fully meet the needs generated by the automotive industry.

With 35.000m² plant installed on a 30 acre area in Guarulhos, Fanavid currently employs 430 employees in the manufacturing of tempered, laminated and armored glass products. Its products are sold to assemblers in all automotive industries - cars, buses, trucks, harvesters and combines, tractors, civil construction machinery, trains and rapid transit cars transport, marine vessels and also to the after market in Brazil and abroad.

Today, we are proud to be a 100% national company, established on fundamentals that confirm the philosophy of its founder: commitment to quality and constant improvement of production processes, the constant search for solutions in safety glass products for the automobile industry, and production flexibility. These are the values that make Fanavid the largest independent automotive safety glass company in South America.
